The toilet waste pipe had not been connected into the main drainage line. Instead, it effectively had nowhere to discharge to, which is why the system was backing up.

For a commercial unit, this can quickly turn into a serious operational issue.

The Result
With the correct connection in place, the issue was fully resolved.
The toilets began draining properly, and the risk of further backups was eliminated. For the customer, this meant they could use the facilities as intended without ongoing disruption.
